Donald F. Yunker boasts a career as Orland Township's Highway Commissioner that spans more than 32 years.  His lifelong commitment to the position gives him unparalleled experience in highway construction and maintenance, and he has proven himself to be consistently responsible when it comes to managing cost estimates, drafting contracts, and preparing and monitoring an effective budget.

















  


























Don is a former officer of the Cook County Highway Commissioner's Association, a former Trustee for the Orland Township Treasure of Schools, a 22 year member of the Cook County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, and has been recognized for his "Outstanding Service to the Community,' by the Orland Park Lions Club.  When he's not working to maintain the safety and cost of Orland Township's roads, he dedicates much of his time volunteering for the Township's Food Pantry, and the Township's Youth and Family Services.
